ClinicalTrials.gov has posted results from NCT02802735, a completed Phase 1 pharmacokinetic study of apremilast in healthy adult Korean men.

The registry reports 28 enrolled participants. In one study part, participants received single doses of 20, 30 and 40 milligrams across treatment periods; another part compared 30 milligrams twice daily with placebo over 14 days. The posted tables report measured plasma concentrations and related pharmacokinetic outcomes.

Because this was a small early-phase study in healthy volunteers, its results do not establish clinical effectiveness or safety for patients with a disease. The registry data should not be read as a treatment recommendation.
